The INDOPACOM combatant command theater covers over half the earth's surface and provides unique challenges to our National Defense strategy. What you will do Perform a variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, human resources, or for a specific project/business/technical unit
Identify, assess, and vet companies being considered for hire by HII, ensuring all corporate and legal requirements are met or exceeded
Create and maintain central share file for vendors to send their invoicing; maintaining a completely transparent finance picture for anyone with a reason to know
Work with cost control analyst/business manager and project manager to coordinate billing/billing cycles for services rendered Interface with vendors to resolve invoicing/payment issues
Participate in finance meetings to inform local and corporate HII leadership of potential issues and needs regarding vendors Gather, collect, record, track, and verify data and information from multiple sources
Compile, review, and analyze data and provide observations/recommendations to senior staff
Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures
Receive invoices and work with Accounts Payable to make sure no payments are delinquent
Coordinate client-related employee travel by drafting, reviewing, and submitting Travel Authorization Requests; drafting and submitting trip reports following employee travel; compiling Receipt Breakdowns and Receipt Packages for government FEDSIM, Prime, and company use; coordinate company travel card applications and associated credit card limits, and creating Tax Exempt Travel Reports for internal company use Assist in reconciling timesheets errors to ensure all team employees are in compliance with government and company policies
Additional duties as assigned or required What we are looking for 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
Bonus points for Bachelors in Business Administration or related educational experience
2+ years of defense industry business support experience
Prior experience with defense contracting or Department of Defense (DoD)
Prior experience working with large and diverse teams
Creative problem solver
