Team Overview:

Branch Real Estate (BRE) is responsible for supporting the physical branch office needs through the coordination of leasing, construction, lease administration, and maintenance of more than 15,000 branch office locations in the US and Canada. BRE performs these duties in a way to maximize value and minimize disruptions to our branch teams, allowing them to continue to focus on the needs of our clients.
Branch Real Estate recently created a Program Management Team to act as a shared resource across BRE that is responsible for leading and supporting business and technology projects, BRE analytics and insights, market strategy and the future strategy for BRE. The Project Leader will be a member of the Program Management Team and support this work through the day-to-day leading and participating in projects They will also be responsible for partnering and collaborating with Cushman & Wakefield, who is our external Real Estate Service Provider.

What You'll Do:
  • Partner with BRE leadership to lead and participate in critical department and firm projects to understand the impact of Branch Real Estate on delivery of current and future firm strategies.
  • Project management: plans, executes, and controls projects of various levels of complexity/integration; may lead multiple projects concurrently.
  • Leadership: provides direction and leadership for project team members; creates strong project team environment and leverages team members' strengths; leads and influences others directly or indirectly.
  • Provide guidance to Cushman & Wakefield team to ensure alignment on firm strategies, supporting the firm and the field.
  • Provide firm-level understanding of real estate initiatives to drive change in the field.
  • Utilize independent thought and judgment and practice candor with respect.
  • Have a working knowledge of technologies related to or dependent on the BRE and inter-related systems and the ability to learn and apply new/emerging technologies.
What Experience You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or related work experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience with at least one year in a leadership role on a project preferred.
  • Ability to ask probing questions to gain a sufficient understanding of the project or situation.
  • Strong organization and coordination skills with the ability to multi-task multiple projects or multiple phases of a specific project.
  • Aptitude to create process efficiencies that will reduce costs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a succinct manner, both verbally and written, with project team members, stakeholders, and vendors. Also fosters open communication by listening to others.
  • Process-oriented: detailed understanding of project management methodologies, system development lifecycle, infrastructure best practices and firm processes and guidelines.
  • Tool competency: effectively utilizes enterprise project management tools (e.g. project plans, flow charts and timelines).
What Could Set You Apart:
  • Prior Commercial Real Estate experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other Project Management certifications
