Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Project Geologist (PG/GIT) to join our engineering team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects and be part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals. The candidate must be skilled in Geology, CAD, and Cross Sections, and have your GIT or PG.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct geological mapping, surface sampling, and subsurface drilling to collect data for engineering projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of geological reports and maps, interpret and evaluate geological data.
  • Perform geological modeling and interpretation using CAD software.
  • Develop geological cross sections and profiles.
  • Participate in field investigations and site inspections.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists to provide geological input for engineering design.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in geology and related disciplines.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in Geology or a related field.
  • GIT (Geologist in Training) certification is required.
  • PG (Professional Geologist) strongly preffered
  • Proficient in CAD software and geological modeling tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of geological mapping and interpretation.
  • Experience in preparing geological reports and maps.
  • Strong understanding of geological cross sections and profiles.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
