Project Executive

Job Title: Project Executive - Concrete Construction Location: Tampa, Florida Company: National Concrete Subcontractor Salary: Competitive (based on experience) Company Overview: A national concrete subcontractor is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Executive specializing in Concrete Construction to lead and oversee projects in Tampa, Florida. The successful candidate will play a key role in project management, client communication, and ensuring the successful execution of concrete construction projects. Responsibilities: Total Project Oversight: Provide comprehensive oversight of concrete construction projects from initiation to completion. Client Communication: Interface with clients to understand project requirements, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction. Estimation Leadership: Lead the estimation team to calculate accurate time, cost, and labor estimates for construction projects. Bid Proposal Generation: Generate pricing, proposals, and bids for concrete construction projects. Quality Survey/Take-Off Leadership: Oversee the completion of Quality Survey/Take-Off by identifying and quantifying all necessary concrete scope items. Project Goal Alignment: Align project goals by setting work hours, obtaining materials, sequencing tasks, and securing deals with vendors and subcontractors. Project Coordination: Provide coordination throughout the duration of projects, covering scope, change orders, field coordination, progress billing, and project close-out tasks. Post Bid Activities Leadership: Lead post-bid activities to ensure a smooth transition to project execution. Team Leadership: Provide leadership to the project management team, including Estimators, Project Managers, and Coordinators. Requirements: Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in concrete construction, including at least 5 years in a leadership/executive role. Estimating Experience: Strong background in estimating large commercial self-perform concrete projects. Concrete Construction Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and field experience associated with cast-in-place concrete construction, concrete footings, and foundations. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Technical Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret technical and legal documents. Structural Products Knowledge: Knowledge of related structural products, including joists, decks, stairs, rails, anchor rods, etc. Scope of Work Assembly: Ability to assemble the scope of work with required information, including inclusions, exclusions, and qualifications. Construction Terminology: Knowledge of terminology customarily used in construction and familiarity with computer and estimating software packages. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft software applications, including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience using B2W software is a plus.
