Project Engineer - Automotive Conveyor Design
Location: Southfield, MI (with occasional travel to Windsor, ONT, Mexico, and Canada)
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 annually (including overtime and end-of-year bonuses)

Position Overview:
As a Project Engineer, you will oversee all engineering and technical aspects of assigned projects, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and quality. You will work closely with the project manager and superintendent to design, layout, and detail conveyor systems as per customer specifications and the Client's bid clarifications.
The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive conveyor design and preferably holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering. However, we are open to candidates with significant relevant experience. The candidate should be highly proficient in AutoCAD Inventor and have a background in the automotive industry, particularly in designing bagging and handling systems as well as large-scale conveyors. This role is predominantly focused on automotive conveyors, accounting for 95% of the responsibilities, and does not involve process or structural design. We seek a dedicated professional with a strong track record in the market, reflecting their expertise in automotive conveyor systems over the past five years.
