Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Project Engineer to support DOD construction projects at the Tyndall AFB, Panama City, FL for a future project in early 2024. The Project Engineer will support the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) as an owners' representative.
This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Review submittals, contractor questions, RFIs/RFCs, construction schedules;
Analyze contract deficiencies, construction deficiencies, project issues, requests for equitable adjustment, and claims;
Make written recommendations to the COR;
Compute time extensions;
Assist in preparing documents for change orders and claims;
Make technical interpretations of drawings and specifications;
Provide engineering determinations on meeting the contract requirements;
Make practicability determinations from a construction standpoint.
