Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year
A bit about us:Working under the supervision of the District Engineer and in cooperation with other supervisors, the incumbent provides project design, and management support, for operation, maintenance, and development activities for irrigation and drainage facilities, District properties, buildings and equipment. The incumbent must have a thorough understanding of public works contracting and administration, including typical construction practices, bidding, contracts, design documents, submittals, and coordination with contractors.

Job DetailsEducation: The incumbent must possess a bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering, civil engineering or a related engineering discipline.
A professional engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience designing and managing public works projects
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated; able to start and complete projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated skills in team leadership, project management and problem solving.
