Nesco Resources has partnered with their client in Milford CT to identify a Project Engineer for a full time role at their facility.

As a Project Engineer, you will be a hands-on part of our team designing innovative LED lighting solutions. You will be a part of all aspects of the process, from concept, to R&D, to production.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Independently lead the coordinate technical development efforts of multiple projects; ensuring performance, quality, cost and schedule alignment.
  • Oversee development resources, such as Electrical Engineers, Industrial Designers or technicians
  • Coordinate with other departments and external vendors as needed to streamline project timeframe
  • Provide technical knowledge and counsel to non-technical audiences, such as customers or other internal departments
  • Coordinate and lead executive level updates and sign off meetings as part of Product Development process
  • Be able to anticipate, analyze, resolve or escalate issues before any significant impact to project schedule
  • Fill gaps as needed to drive tasks to completion
  • Ensure no details fall through the cracks

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Electrical engineering or other related engineering degree - 5+ years' experience
  • Product development experience - 4+ Years experience
  • Experience leading a team or development - preferred
  • Lighting design or product development experience - preferred
  • Electronics experience - power supplies, components, analog and digital circuits
  • Proven proficiency at writing technical reports and performing technical or failure analysis
