Primary Responsibilities:
Process Enhancement:
o Assess and refine existing processes to bolster efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
o Devise and execute advanced manufacturing strategies to enhance overall production efficacy.
o Foster close collaboration with production teams to streamline workflows and eradicate bottlenecks.
o Liaise with product design and development units to ensure the manufacturability of new products.
o Formulate and implement manufacturing processes for new products with an emphasis on efficiency and scalability.
o Offer valuable insights on material selection and fabrication techniques during the design phase.
Quality Assurance:
o Establish and uphold robust quality control protocols for metal fabrication, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client specifications.
o Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective measures to rectify quality issues.
o Collaborate harmoniously with the quality assurance team to devise and refine inspection procedures.
Cost Optimization Initiatives:
o Identify avenues for cost reduction within manufacturing processes while upholding product quality standards.
o Assess and implement process enhancements conducive to overall cost reduction.
o Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize material usage and curtail production expenses.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Forge close partnerships with cross-functional teams, including production, design, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
o Effectively communicate with team members and provide technical acumen to address manufacturing challenges.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in a process engineering capacity within the metals industry.
Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
