Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

The Project Development Director plays a direct role in projects from inception to completion, transforming client ideas into actionable plans, nurturing and expanding client connections and actively contributing to the company's marketing initiatives. This role will report directly to the President and will have a key leadership role for our team.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively seek out, follow-up on, and respond to leads for new project opportunities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
• Summarize project requirements for hand-off to the project management team
• Review estimates and proposals to ensure accuracy and alignment with project objectives
• Prepare information and present it to customers, including proposals, material samples, literature, drawings, renderings, etc.
• Assist with Requests for Proposals (RFPs) by providing relevant project information and documentation
• Research local zoning code regulations and requirements to ensure compliance
• Direct plan approval requirements and submittals, coordinating with regulatory agencies and stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to increase market share
• Assist with ongoing marketing plan and advertising efforts to promote the company
• Maintain and update CRM platform
• Actively engage in networking activities
• Photograph sites during all phases of construction
• Prepare project information sheets for completed projects to showcase achievements and capabilities

Key Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in architecture, drafting, business, engineering, or construction related programming
• Demonstrated business development experience
• Demonstrated experience in construction related industry
• Experience in construction drawing/drafting software
