Job Details

The Project Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Retail Store Project Coordinator with planning, coordinating & execution of all store projects from conception to completion. This individual will be onsite at most brick-and-mortar projects aiding in the execution & completion. This individual takes accountability for product and presentation direction; identifies needs, develops plans and follows up to ensure effective execution.

Responsibilities:

• Implement company visual /merchandising plans in appropriate time frames to drive store sales & drive brand loyalty by ensuring exceptional customer experience through well-merchandised, visually engaging, brand appropriate environments throughout the Company
• Ensure project kit is at every project & replenished when needed
• Create project Binder(s), referencing the project checklist
• Schedule & ensure execution is complete for all third-party vendors
• Resolve store specific merchandising challenges that require adaptations based on store architecture, inventory levels, and business trends, in line with the presentation book and seasonal strategies; works 'hands on' with store teams
• Develops creative merchandising solutions to drive sales and margin
• Participates and supports the planning, executing and follow up of key rollouts and initiatives
• Effectively lead other department managers and specialists in all areas of visual presentation and work collaboratively with them to ensure a harmonious physical presentation

Requirements:

• Having previous experience in specialty retail visual merchandising is required; Retail management experience, including visual merchandising and presentation experience
• BS/BA Preferred (preferably in visual merchandising)
• 4+ years of retail visual merchandising experience
• Excellent merchandising skills
• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service when on the sales floor
• Flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Travel will be required up to and including overnight stays
