Responsibilities:

As a Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing and overseeing all financial aspects of assigned projects, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
2. Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project budgets and financial plans.
3. Tracking project costs and comparing them with budgets to identify variances and potential issues.
4. Preparing timely and accurate financial reports and presenting them to project stakeholders and senior management.
5. Ensuring compliance with all applicable financial regulations and standards.
6. Assisting in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve project financial management and control.
7. Participating in project meetings and providing financial insights and advice.
8. Working closely with the finance team to ensure seamless integration of project accounting with general accounting.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction or similar industry.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial reporting standards, and cost accounting.
4. Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
7. A high level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
8. The ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. A strong interest in science and technology, with the desire to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
