Overview of the Project Accountant Role:
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes efficiently and accurately.
- Handle monthly draws and financial reporting with precision and timeliness.
- Expertly post transactions into QuickBooks, maintaining organized and up-to-date records.
- Conduct thorough reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and other team members to ensure seamless communication and transparency.
Preferred Experience for the Project Accountant:
- Accounting experience in the areas of real estate or construction a plus
- Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly;
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
