Job Summary This paragraph summarizes the general nature, level and purpose of the job. The Sr. Programmer Analyst is responsible for providing administrative and technical assistance in the development, installation and ongoing maintenance of computer systems used throughout the institution. The incumbent is responsible for complex assignments that are small to significantly sized, that require independent decision-making, project management skills and judgment. Analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. The Sr. Analyst will exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. The analyst works with the user community to identify and prioritize system enhancements, fixes data quality issues, resolves problems and participates in projects that affect the application. Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct. + Manages complex projects and a small group of employees or consultants. Provides technical consultation and guidance to other team members. + Support new project development, including systems analysis, planning and preparation, coding, testing, and implementation and client coordination. + Supports ongoing maintenance of computerized systems, including problem analysis and investigation, correction/coding, testing and implementation and client coordination. + Provides production support as necessary to keep systems operational. + Creates and maintains regular status reports for management. + Prepares technical reviews and coordinates walk through. + Develops, supports and maintains systems documentation and procedures as needed. + Provides training to staff and user clients as appropriate. + Coordinates interactions and activities of vendors, on-site and off-site, as related to systems or areas supported. Minimum Qualifications Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying. Education: Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university Experience: Eight (8) years progressively responsible and directly related work experience License/Certificate: None Additional Information: Advanced SQL, Tableau and background supporting heart center operations or cardiac related data registries are preferred. Pay Range Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
