Program Security Officer Level 2

MUST HAVE A TS/SCI CLEARANCE TO QUALIFY

The Program Security Officer will be responsible for fulfilling multi-discipline security requirements, with a primary emphasis on personnel security for our US Space Force customer. This role involves providing day-to-day personnel security services for Special Access Program (SAP) activities, including conducting verifications, administering security education and training, and supporting program management teams. The Program Security Officer will ensure compliance with current DoD/USAF/USSF regulations, policies, and procedures related to Special Access Program Security, Sensitive Compartmented Information Security, and Collateral security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct verifications via DISS, JADE, and other databases for personnel security clearances/access levels.


• Administer security education, training, and awareness (SETA) for Civil Service, military, and contractor personnel.


• Support program management teams and provide guidance on program security.


• Draft, review, and staff DD254's.


• Oversee the Program Personnel security program, including industry and mission partners.

MUST HAVE A TS/SCI CLEARANCE TO QUALIFY

Requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant DoD work experience with at least two (2) years in an SAP and/or SCI environment and a BA/BS degree.


• Practical hands-on experience as a PERSEC Specialist or closely related position.


• Proficiency in using DOD and Special Access Program systems of record, including DISS and JADE.


• Knowledge of DoD/USAF/USSF regulations and policies related to security.


• Must have or be eligible for a DoD security clearance.


• U.S. citizenship is required.
