Program Manager with Security Clearance

Overview VTG is seeking Program Manager located at Pax River, MD to oversee and manage the Naval Air Warfare (NAVAIR) Centers for Contractor Engineering Technical Services. The program provides Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) in support of on-site proficiency training, guidance and advice to resolve unusually complex technical problems, and technical expertise. The objective of CETS is to develop the technical skills and abilities of Navy and Marine Corps military, civilian personnel, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) who are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the CFM56 and F404 engine series. What will you do? The Program Manager must have experience in initiating and maintaining technical direction within broad program objectives directly related to aircraft systems. Demonstrates ability to work with large and diverse teams and the ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision in all areas of contracted effort such as program management. Must be able to review financial reports, status reports and other data to determine progress and to assure work is performed per expectations, instructions, and established guidelines of the contract requirements. Must work closely with Government Lead and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to provide program assistance and ensure program objectives are achieved within cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements. Can provide input and assessing CETS to fill site vacancies. Do you have what it takes? At least six (6) years of professional experience working with defense acquisition. Three (3) years of experience in support of Navy Acquisition management BS or BA degree, An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted or a BA/BS or a minimum of eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS. Must have a valid Secret Clearance This position is contingent upon contract award
