Job Title: Program Manager -4698 Lob Location: National Capital Region, Arlington, VA 22201 Job Summary Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Program Manager (PM) position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. As the Program Manager in the Arlington, VA office, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the seamless execution of various projects and initiatives. The PM will be the primary liaison to the Government for all areas associated with this contract and manage the work schedules and activities performed by the contract employees. Your responsibilities will span from project management to staff management, ensuring excellence in every aspect of program delivery. We are seeking a dynamic leader with exceptional organizational skills and a passion for driving excellence in program management. Duties will include drafting and finalizing Transition Plans, developing Staffing Management Plans, and generating detailed Monthly Status Reports. You will also be responsible for planning and executing government-approved projects, participating in on-site meetings, and facilitating integration with established DISA processes. Additionally, you will oversee the Life Cycle Refresh of the Military Commissions Defense Organization SAP system and lead the establishment and implementation of SAP solutions for the Office of Military Commissions-Convening Authority. This role requires a strong commitment to excellence, outstanding leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail in managing complex projects and teams. Skills / Experience Required 10+ years of IT Program Management experience 7+ years of experience leading sizable DoD IT support services that includes NIPRNet, SIPRNET and JWICS support of over 500+ users Drafting and finalizing Transition Plans in accordance with requirements Developing Staffing Management Plans for all contractor staff assigned to the program Generating Monthly Status Reports detailing completed tasks, staffing updates, financials, and any encountered challenges Planning and executing government-approved projects, facilitating their implementation Participating in on-site meetings, delivering progress briefings, and preparing responses to IT-related data calls Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to delineate collaborative responsibilities and support process interactions Facilitating integration with established DISA processes and procedures Overseeing the Life Cycle Refresh of the Military Commissions Defense Organization SAP system Leading the establishment, design, and implementation of SAP solutions for the Office of Military Commissions-Convening Authority Education / Certifications Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Management, Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Assurance, or a related discipline. Required certifications: Project Management Professional Certification (PMP), along with one of the following DoD 8570.01M certifications: CompTIA Security Plus Continuing Education (CE) CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) Continuing Education (CE) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Benefits Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance Flexible Spending Accounts 401(k) PTO Tuition reimbursement Paid federal holidays Security Clearance Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance may be required. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
