NOVON Consulting is looking for a Program Manager to work with one of our financial services clients. The ideal candidate will have Wealth Management (broker dealer) and ideally, integration and conversion experience within that sector, i.e., integrating multiple firms onto common systems and processes. Candidate must be a strong driver and decision facilitator and be able to articulate problems and potential solutions effectively to both executive leaders and project team members. Ability to determine reasonable project deliverable dates and drive the organization and project resources toward those dates is also critical for success. Experience managing multiple project managers and coordinators is required.

NOVON is a consulting firm and we only hire W-2 employees. No independent contractor (or corp to corp) relationships will be considered.

Responsibilities of Program Manager

Defines program scope, resource requirements, budget, timeline, deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and plans to support integration strategy and targets.

Manages the program through all phases of the lifecycle, including project initiation, project requirements, and specifications, design, construction, testing, operational readiness, training, implementation, and closur

Identifies, monitors, communicates inter-dependencies across program work streams

Supports management of the program budget including reporting on actuals, completing forecasting and managing variances

Validates test plans to ensure solution will meet requirements

Partners to develop new standards or improvements to existing standards; maintains acquisition playbook

Set project timeline and drive all participants to meet their respective deadlines

Monitor project deliverables for completeness and accuracy

Identify, manage and escalate issues and risks

Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress

Coach and support project team members with tasks assigned to them

Manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

Experience and knowledge working with all functional areas within a broker-dealer firm including legal, finance, human resources, risk/compliance, operations, transitions and technology

Rep Code expansion to 4 character rep codes and to support special characters

3rd party vendor reach out and management being able to work with the business owners to obtain all the info needed on our 3rd parties to ensure they are ready for the upcoming conversion(s)

Commission system consolidation

Pershing / fidelity and ENV conversions

4+ years leading and successfully delivering multiple concurrent complex programs

8-10 years leading and successfully delivering complex projects

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Excellent facilitation, written, and organizational skills

Results-driven person with a proven record of successful execution

High level of expertise with Microsoft Office products

Experience integrating multiple firms onto common systems and processes

Results oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize details with the big picture in mind

Successfully engages in multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment

Ability to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and break down high-level information into details

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail evidenced through sound analytical skills
