Overview Summary The Program Manager - C1GS is responsible for delivering large or/and complex programs to time, scope, budget and quality. These programs may consist of interrelated projects across multiple technologies and offers, being led by individual Project Managers under an overarching program or may comprise a single large multi-year program for the Program Manager to lead. This position mentors Project Managers responsible for delivering large and complex programs consisting of projects led by ConvergeOne as well as other vendors. Success in this position requires openness to constant change, a focus on continuous improvement and ability to focus on quality control, profitability, and high customer satisfaction. 1 Responsibilities Essential Functions Ensures scope, timelines, budget, and resources are accurately identified, tracked, and reported
Develops full-scale program plans including client specific escalation, governance structure, and associated communication and change management plans
Audits and enforces standard processes and procedures and ensures consistency across the entire program
Identifies and manages program dependencies and critical path
Creates and maintains detailed program plans, issues log, risk register, status reports, and other required documentation
Communicates program expectation to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clean fashion
Creates strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning
Manages proactively the changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
Facilitates change management associated with implementing process improvements into the organization - the adoption of new or improved processes and/or procedures across the organization
Provides the appropriate resource staffing and management forecast for the programs managed, including the acquisition of contract resources when needed
Tracks and communicates performance measurements to project team and stakeholders
Manages program for all phases including but not limited to RFP development, Pre-sales scope management, gap analysis, define, solution design, technical design, process change, development and configuration of applications, testing, training, deployment and transition
Identifies and communicates project priority within programs and set project milestone priority for the project teams
Prepares and presents program status report to customer, executives, management and project team
Ensures program and project financials are updated for accuracy and variance analysis
Prepares appropriate documentation to close out programs and facilitate effective transitions
Conducts program postmortems and creates recommendation report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful program elements
Performs Program and Project Management at best practice level during all phases of lifecycle
Provides mentoring for more junior team members and Project Managers
Reviews client trends and recommend continuous improvement as needed or business opportunities aligned with customer objectives
Promotes knowledge sharing and skills development
Supports and promotes the objectives of the C1GS PMO
Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities Oversees special projects as needed
Engages in direct project management as needed
Manage documentation IAW ISO 9001 requirements
Manage programs for government customers IAW Federal Acquisition Regulations and agency requirements Qualifications Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in progressive project/program management roles
Experience managing programs/projects within the Professional Services industry
Excellent demonstrated leadership and management skills with the ability to assign and monitor work within programs
Experience working and communicating with Executive level management internally and client facing
Solid knowledge of project management discipline, project management tools and analysis
Comprehensive knowledge of project management concepts and process improvement methodologies
Excellent ability to lead a team toward program objectives and vision
Ability to foster and build relationships at all levels in a large, global corporate environment
Strong interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
Strong written and presentations skills, with the ability to tailor information to the audience in a way that establishes rapport, influences others and gains understanding at all levels
Fluent in use of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio & Microsoft Project
PMP or equivalent certification Desired/Preferred Qualifications Six Sigma certification
