Job Description The Opportunity
Join BAE Systems as an Infrastructure and Deployment Operations Program Manager to be part of a diverse and enthusiastic team who solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges and directly support the nation's security. The Role will primarily support the 'Sentinel' Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Program replacing the aging Minuteman III (MMIII) ICBM, and upgrades on critical ammunition plant infrastructure with our Ordinance Team. These projects represent billions of dollars in work at 100's of new construction and facility renovation projects that includes planning, design, analysis, construction, and maintenance. The position will be based at Hill AFB, Utah with opportunity for travel to sites as needed. Our team is on the cutting edge of some of the newest digital engineering tools and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices to meet existing warfighter requirements. As part of these contracts, BAE Systems' provides Advisory and Assistance Services in the areas of engineering, logistics, management, scientific analysis, and other subject matter expertise to augment and optimize management of these critical programs.

The Operations Program Manager performs one or more of the following functions:
Meet often with primary contacts within the government to understand needs and direction of the program
Leads team to a Assist the government in the development of current and future IT system requirements. Evaluate plans and criteria for technical activities and recommend alternatives as required to comply with government and company obligations
Model and demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety and security
Clearly communicate job expectations by planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and counseling employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities
Maintain safe and healthy working environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards; adhering to legal regulations
Participate in the support of new business and in the development of plans for the company
Attend conferences and meetings to represent assigned activity and the needs of the government
Conduct research in areas that require a high level of expertise and knowledge in areas of specialization and some related fields.
Maintain knowledge in area of specialization and awareness of developments in the remaining related fields, including extensive contributions to proposal efforts when requested by management
Apply systems engineering principles in the development of strategic plans meeting government requirements ensuring network availability to meet program objectives and system capability to efficiently meet stakeholder needs
Direct program activities and major projects for all infrastructure and Deployment activities. Be responsible for achievement of schedule, cost, and technical performance objectives. Prepare program portfolio execution plan and identify technical and business resources needed
Review status of projects within the program, manage schedules, and prepare status reports. Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives
Provide program management, technical and analytical guidance to program and project team
Create a vision of excellence for the organization that encapsulates the company's values, the customer's priorities, and the qualities of ownership and accountability in a welcoming culture where employees and subcontractors know their work is valued and appreciated

Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelors degree
10 yrs program management experience (8yrs with MS) Ability to direct multi-disciplined teams in drafting, approval and implementation of strategic plans Experience with managing cross-discipline engineer teams and growing teams
Capable of creating required engineering documentation using Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Access.
Must be able to obtain Secret (or higher) security clearance Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience with development and management of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to support Infrastructure and Deployment activities Experience with Risk Management systems Familiarity with Agile Mindset and continuous process improvement
Working knowledge of applying Digitial Tools to organize a team
Active Secret clearance, Ability to obtain Top Secret Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115110 - $195660 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
