Medical Laboratory Technician Program Coordinator Rasmussen University Ask us about our $5,000 sign on bonus for this role Rasmussen University is growing. We are seeking a Program Coordinator to provide leadership to the Medical Laboratory Technician program This role will create course material that will fulfill the educational needs of Rasmussen University's students and play an integral role in the success and overall positive experience for students of Rasmussen University. Responsibilities: Leverage industry connections to support externship placements, employment opportunities and program growth Work effectively with faculty, staff, students, administration, vendors, University departments and programmatic accreditors to manage the MLT program Lead and support the MLT program, including instructional design, delivery systems, program and student evaluation, admissions and advising; ensure program complies with University, state, and federal laws, standards and guidelines Plan and develop a variety of instructional objectives and experiences appropriate to the MLT program goals including appropriate general education requirements for the degree; teach a variety of MLT courses Present to and engage groups of students to achieve their educational goals Maintain positive student retention and ensure a quality educational experience Demonstrate passion for the MLT field Participate in training, observation and evaluation Ensure compliance with University and programmatic accreditation, regulations and policies Reporting Relationships: The Program Coordinator will report to an Academic Dean. Requirements: Master's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Technician. Current Registered MLS/CLS or MT required. 3 or more years work experience in field required. 3 or more years of previous teaching, training, and curriculum development experience in higher education preferred Persuasive communication skills, with ability to demonstrate results Active community connections to assist students with internship/employment opportunities a plus Must be able to provide professional certifications and official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited About Us: Rasmussen University is a regionally accredited private university dedicated to changing lives and the communities it serves through high-demand and flexible educational programs.
