Production Team Leader A Shift

Monday to Thursday 5 am to 3 pm with OT usually 4:30 am to 4 pm to get shift started as finishing shift.

The position of production team leader is to be the "flight attendance for production 70% on the floor

Daily Expectations:

Follow all safety rules.

Supervising operations within a zone to achieve higher output (20-25 associates)

Organizing training and educational manuals for the production team

Support getting associate to their work center on time.

Assist on getting associates safety supplies.

Direct associates who have questions about which work center they are to be working.

Hand out labor tickets and production labels. Verifying they match.

Wear a radio to be able to answer associates who call for assistance.

Go to work center to understand concern or question.

Contact Maintenance or Material Handler when needed.

Assist with line changes

Assist with putting up material when needed. Foil, facing & glass.

Printing production labels, labor tickets when needed.

Inputting production results when needed.

Assist in improving production rate.

Assist in reducing scrap.

Run production line as needed thru breaks & lunch.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.

Fluent English and Spanish is a plus

Good employee standing/attendance

Basic understanding of safety, quality standards and efficiency rate.

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (molding, stamping and waterjet)

Basic understanding of raw materials (fiberglass, fabric, steel and binder).

Good communication & coaching skills

Computer skills (Excel Intermediate)
