Lewisville, Texas Production Systems Superuser About this opportunity With over three years as an established Ericsson Production Site in the US, the Production team is looking to expand our software systems improvement and support functions. As a highly automated factory, software is integrated deeply into our day-to-day activities, and it is the Superuser's role to ensure the software is working as intended, that all necessary users are comfortable with it, and that it is continuously improving. The Production Systems Superuser works to monitor and analyze production data, define problems, gather inputs, and propose or advocate for solutions to improve production systems and processes on a continuous basis. This role will also follow through on the implementation and support of improvements and updates in our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP), among others. The Superuser is also responsible for troubleshooting problems, finding solutions, and contacting proper support teams when necessary. What you will do Support Minimize production downtime by being first line of support and troubleshooting for the US 5G Smart Factory's MES System, Apriso Participate in global user acceptance and regression testing for Apriso upgrades Quickly report and drive to closure any reported bugs or other issues with vendor and/or global support teams Provide systems-related training material targeted toward Production Operators, Team Leads, and Supervisors Consult with other departments on systems issues and questions regarding best practices, available data, and features Support configuration of systems for various tests and projects Complete process mapping and standardize of ways of working in systems across shifts as necessary Develop views of system health and levels of activity for use in metrics Improve Gather inputs from user community, analyze data, and generate ideas to continuously optimize Production systems, applications, and tools directly and in collaboration with supporting functions within the factory Act as primary point of contact for systems-related projects originating from within Warehouse, Quality, Engineering, Industry 4.0, or other groups. Develop and implement process improvements focused on automating handoffs between and within systems Own the creation of corrective actions when deviations from standard operating procedures are discovered within systems Facilitate change management resulting from systems updates and rollouts Define, create, refine, and maintain dashboards to monitor and improve Production in collaboration with Industry 4.0 team Advocate Advocate for Production's system needs and priorities both locally and globally Participate in meetings and forums locally and globally to provide analysis and input and to ensure alignment on proposed improvements and changes Work with Local Process Architects (LPAs) and Global Process Architects (GPAs) to remain informed about upcoming changes and distribute this information internally as necessary Promote, understand, and strictly adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines without deviation You will bring Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in information systems, industrial engineering, systems engineering, or related field 1-5 years of experience working as part of a complex, global business Continuous process improvement experience Experience mapping physical processes to systematic processes Strong communication skills Ability to work effectively in a highly diverse, fast-paced, and constantly evolving work environment Ideal Qualifications Experience in a telecommunications or electronics manufacturing environment Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Knowledge of Six Sigma Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, ideally SAP Experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ideally DELMIA Apriso Familiarity with the architecture and functions of Ericsson systems such as MI, Tracy, EBIP, and Valor/vManage This role reports to the Production Manager Why join Ericsson?
