Job Details

Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing division of the organization

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Coordinates with other departments of the manufacturing division to assure that functional requirements are met at the lowest cost.
• Directs and oversees product design and assembly to maximize the production levels of all manufacturing operations.
• Establishes policies and standards within the department
• Provides administrative and technical assistance in support of department and division projects and research.
• Supervises 30 associates.

• Maintains machine and shift scheduling.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Advanced knowledge of 3, 4, and 5 axis machining
• Advanced MRP systems
• Understanding of Purchasing and Production processes and requirements
• CNC Programming
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to read prints/drawings
• Detailed oriented
• Excellent organization skills
• Thorough follow through essential

Experience:

• 10 years experience in aerospace manufacturing
• 5-7 years in management
