HotFoot Recruiters is thrilled to collaborate with a prominent autoparts manufacturing company to find an experienced Production Supervisor. This role is essential for optimizing production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

Position: Production Supervisor
Type: Full-Time; Direct Hire
Pay Range: $70K - $75K DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and update production SOPs to enhance performance.
  • Lead and motivate staff to meet production targets while promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Communicate job expectations, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, select, orient, and train employees; support opportunities for personal growth.
  • Monitor and audit production processes to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments to align production activities with company goals.
  • Schedule and assign personnel to meet production plans and manage workflows between departments.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are operational; coordinate repairs and evaluate new tools or techniques.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment; educate staff on safety policies and best practices.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen and Lean manufacturing.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • 5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in a LEAN manufacturing setting.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanics.
  • Hands-on coaching approach; comfortable getting their hands dirty and show the team how it's done.
  • Automotive experience is a PLUS.
  • Metrics-driven with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, and other production management software.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team motivation and success.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and curious by nature.
  • Innovative thinker willing to implement creative solutions to production challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
