Dometic Marine's facility in Litchfield, IL is our main distribution center that manages the packaging and distribution of aftermarket marine and OPE industrial products.
Production Supervisor is responsible for the receiving, assembly & packaging operations. Fully responsible for overseeing the efficient processing of receiving materials, manufacturing orders, packaging and shipping finished goods to the warehouse facility. Ensuring productivity targets are achieved for each area and that all processes are running smoothly and promptly for the shift.
Responsibilities:
Oversee receiving, assembly & packaging, and shipping operations for their respective shift
Responsible for production results (Order accuracy, inventory accuracy, etc.) for their respective shift
Plan work, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
Coaching, Training and Disciplining team members on policies, processes, and procedures
Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with safety programs
Responsible for employee's time keeping and ensure compliance with HR Policies
Partner with Lean resources to continually improve efficiencies
Participate in additional projects as necessary
Qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's in a Business/Engineering related field preferred or equivalent work experience
3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing or production work environment
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.)
ERP/MRP experience required; Forth shift experience preferred
Experience in off-shift; consolidated shift schedules. Not a rotating shift.
