Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include:
Oversee, mentor, and train plant associates on 2nd shift
Achieve production target by producing quality products on a daily basis
Strive to achieve the highest product quality possible, resolve any issues in a timely manner
Immediately address production issues related to breakdowns, scrap, quality, process control
Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement and six sigma events
Ensure safety on the production floor
Requirements for the Production Supervisor include:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in similar supervisory position
Prior work experience in a high-speed/high-volume manufacturing environment
Ability to work 2nd shift hours and overtime as needed
Excellent leadership ability, great communication skills
Prior lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or six sigma experience
