Job Title: Production Supervisor
Salary Range: Starting Salary: $72,000 - $78,000 annually
Schedule: 1st Shift

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for driving operational excellence in the manufacturing industry? My client is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in orchestrating production schedules, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Duties:

• Schedule production and qualifications for assigned departments, meticulously designing room schedules based on demand and constraints.

• Proactively react to changes in scheduling, whether due to shifts in demand or resources, ensuring seamless production flow.

• Drive changeover improvement plans and meticulously track performance metrics to enhance efficiency.

• Monitor job processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and filling out paperwork accurately and comprehensively.

• Manage personnel effectively, deploying consistent policies in areas such as safety, absenteeism, interviewing, termination, and operator discipline.

• Oversee hourly timekeeping approval, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Support lean initiatives and workshops on the plant floor, driving a culture of continuous improvement.

• Conduct regular quality audits to maintain standards of excellence.

• Lead walkabout processes for assigned areas, ensuring visual boards are maintained and task trackers are up to date.

Skills/Technical Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles; Six Sigma or Black Belt certification preferred.

• Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of driving performance improvements.

• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and email systems.

• Working knowledge of MRP systems, with the ability to navigate and utilize data effectively.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results.
