The Product Testing Technician is responsible for supporting new product development as new designs are introduced by engineering. They are also responsible for ensuring that people, equipment, and materials are used properly to maximize productivity. This role will also support our production teams as an Inspector in-between projects.

Test Area Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Learn all aspects of the select brewers including programming and calibration.
  • Recognize and communicate abnormalities during the different test phases.
  • Establish new testing scenarios.
  • Run various brewer cycle tests.
  • Understand and effectively navigate various types of technology.
  • Collect and report test product daily.
  • Prepare and submit accurate written reports of in house and on-site product reviews with recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal staff at all levels and external customers.
  • Meet outlined deadlines while maintaining work quality.
  • Experience with various water testing and electrical equipment
  • Perform periodic audits of product inventory levels.
  • Perform complex tests using instruments and equipment.
  • Test, measure, and analyze products.
  • Observe dials, gauges and indicators to make sure that a machine is working properly.
  • Use thermometers, voltmeters or ohmmeters to test products.
Requirements:

Job Requirements:

  • Analytical thinker
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Experience accurately charting data.
  • Proven experience with thermometers, voltmeters, moisture meters, or tensiometers to test products.
  • Ability to operate and use scales, stopwatch, and a variety of hand tools.
  • Ability to recognize test products such as pods, bulk beans and powders.
  • Some electrical training, experience using ohmmeters, voltmeters and basic plumbing knowledge - preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to carry up to 25 lbs. frequently and lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to reach overhead and up to 25 lbs. frequently.
  • This position is a combination of sitting & standing as needed; occasional ladder climbing.
