Craft Your Career with Brasscraft Manufacturing Company POSITION SUMMARY: The Assembly Operator rotates responsibilities within semi-automatic and manual work cells that assemble components onto Various products we produce. This includes packaging and material handling of product to standards. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Review and interprets schedule, backorder report and add-on sheets to support requirements Completes set-ups, assembly, and packaging of valve bodies, Copper assemblies, plumbing supplies and service parts per schedule, while maintaining established production and quality standards and safety procedures Orders and receives components as needed Retrieves component parts for use from other areas, maintains components in work area Packages completed assemblies from area and delivers to staging areas Makes visual inspections of components / finished good for quality purposes Perform material handling functions as needed Cross train and perform in other work centers as needed to meet customer demands QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to practice good safety and organization Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
