About the job The primary function of the Production Supervisor is the loading/unloading of bulk trucks and monitoring the rack schedule to ensure readiness for incoming and outgoing bulk loads. This also includes all MES / SAP transactions as well as required paperwork and labelling. In your future role as Production Operator, you will Ensure the safety and health of all of our employees, contractors, visitors and community members as well as being environmentally responsible. The loading/unloading of bulk trucks. Monitor the rack schedule to ensure readiness for incoming and outgoing bulk loads. Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly fashion, and ship product of the highest quality and correct quantity, in accordance with the schedule, standard operating procedures and Facilitator instructions. Make correct MES / SAP transactions in real-time. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: goods receipts; post goods issues (PGI's); material to material transfers; storage location to storage location movements; drum movements; and maintenance notifications. Ensure that all required quality checks are performed prior to the product being received or shipped. Clean and make-ready the "maintenance area" BEFORE the maintenance personnel arrive and ensure that the work area is properly cleaned and the equipment is safely returned to service. Assist in the warehouse, product movement, drum filling, or other activities as deemed necessary by the Bulk Manager or Package Manager. Monitor delivery reports to ensure readiness for order fulfillment (bulk and rail). Make intra-plant movements of isocontainers, totes, drums, etc. and make sure that the correct weights and movements are posted in SAP in real time. Provide proper documentation for such movements (light/heavy weight tickets, notes on mule, etc.). Ensure that any required samples are taken and approved in a timely manner. Other duties and assignments as assigned Fill in for bulk loaders scheduled vacations Train bulk loading personnel as necessary We believe you bring High School graduate or equivalent with 3-5 years' experience in loading/unloading of bulk trucks or railcars in the chemical industry. Must have good computer and communication skills. DOT training is required as well as understanding of placards, markings, etc. Working knowledge of pumps, storage tanks, measuring systems, and rack schedules are necessary.
