Position Description Job Summary An Operator assists in all production, warehousing and EHS activities throughout the facility as assigned by the Production Team Leader including, but not limited to, operating a Fork Lift Truck (FLT), washing totes, filling totes with product or raw materials, loading/unloading van or intermodal trailers via FLT, loading/unloading bulk tankers, moving totes via FLT within the facility, making batches, performing quality tests on intermediate and finished goods, and occasionally lifts 50 pound bags. Duties Performs all operations in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Show ability to successfully make accurate batches in the ADVA, MAIN or MID BAY production areas. Understand P&ID and manifold system for transferring product. Able to load and unload product correctly by SOP standards. Ensures all tasks: Are performed using safe work practices. Meet production quality standards. Production output meets thru-put standards Participates in EHS Behavior Based Safety program, Daily and Monthly Safety meetings, GENSUITE Training program, Personal Safety Action Plans, and EHS Management System implementation. Informs Production Team Leader of any inability to meet daily thru-put requirements and recommends and/or implements corrective action. Assists in all monthly inventory counts and reconciliations Participates in daily plant housekeeping within all production and warehousing areas as assigned by Supervision. Informs Supervision of any maintenance requirements and or activities necessary to insure the safe, efficient operation of plant equipment and systems utilizing work order forms. Participates in scheduled team meetings to recommend any necessary changes in procedures that will improve quality, improve production output, reduce costs, improve health and safety, and/or decrease waste generation.
