Production Operator

Job Description Sets up, loads and operates wet mixer and by performing the following duties. Receives instructions from Production Line Lead. Checks batch ticket for any special written instructions. Checks formulated raw materials against batch ticket for accuracy purposes. Adds all wet and dry raw materials for each batch. Ensures all scales are zeroed before pulling any raw material. Mixes all raw materials as instructed by procedures. Once product is completely mixed, carries sample to QC and Color for checks. Once batch is approved, discharges material into appropriate packaging. Performs other duties as required. Education and/or Experience H.S. diploma or general education degree (GED); one year of production experience preferred. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions, work orders and memos. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
