What You'll Do The starting wage for this role is $21.82 per hour. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements). 2nd shift hours are 2pm to 10:30 pm Our Evansville site is located at 1515 Park Street, Evansville Indiana 47710. What You'll Do: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work area. Follow oral and or written work instructions. Ensure cleanliness of the workstation when beginning work Verify and feed raw materials into the production process. Ensure products produced meet quality and food safety standards. Check yields and investigate discrepancies. Maintain accurate production records. Monitor machinery for malfunctions. Notify supervisor of unusual problems, delays, and/or safety issues Report food safety problems Clean workstation and equipment at shift-end Follow Standard Operating Procedures, General Manufacturing Principles safety rules, sanitation rules, good housekeeping procedures, and company rules of conduct. Participate in all company training for food safety and plant safety. Perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Need To Be Successful And Safe High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment. Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required. Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion. Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work in uncomfortable environments including hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. Possible exposure to nut allergens. Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
