Spherion Staffing of Lake and Sumter County has multiple openings for Production Operators to join a manufacturer located in Eustis, FL.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and the production of top-quality food ingredients. If you have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, possess basic computer skills, follow directions meticulously, and have previous experience operating manufacturing machinery, we want to hear from you.

The starting pay rate is $15 to $18 per hour depending on experience.

Various Schedules are available.
- Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Monday to Friday from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am
- Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery, to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot issues to maintain production quality and minimize downtime.
- Safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs as required in the production process.
- Follow production schedules, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to meet production goals.
- Collaborate with the production team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately and promptly.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Skills:
-Relevant knowledge of equipment, process and production capabilities.
-Experience using ERP / MES / MRP / Shop Manufacturing Systems a plus.

High School

Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent required.
-At least one year of related experience required.
-Working knowledge, skills, and ability to understand, interpret and assess FDA, Food and Plant Safety, product, process and quality-related requirements and to ensure adherence to all HACCP protocols, GMPs and SOPs.
