At our plant in Cabot, VT milk from Vermont and a few New Hampshire farms is expertly crafted into Specialty VT Cheddars, Flavored and Light Cheeses and Cultured products as well as Greek-Style Yogurt, Cottage Cheese and Sour Cream and our looking to add full time Production Operators to our team. We are seeking full-time Production Operator in our Culture department for third shifts 1:00am to 9:00am. Under the direction of the Team lead and/ or Production Supervisor, this role is responsible for performing all work-related tasks using Good Manufacturing Practices by following the Food Safety and Food Quality requirements of the SQF program. Must know all duties for the position of palletizer (Including Pail line) and Delkor/ Spot pack operator. Additional responsibilities below: Must be able to titrate chemicals Able to maintain good records/ use of Greenzone Able to communicate and troubleshoot any issues that arise to the production supervisor or team lead. Able to complete any MC program orders on time Able to complete any Master sanitation orders on time Ensuring all chemicals are stored and labeled properly Able to follow all procedures relating to chemical and personal safety Able to follow all SSOP Able to handle situations or problems that occur with a high level of professionalism and direction. Able to do basic repairs Adheres to company rules, regulations and core values, including Code of Conduct. Responsible for performing all work-related tasks using Good Manufacturing Practices by following the Food Safety and Food Quality requirements of the SQF program. This includes the requirement to report all safety issues and incidents to your Supervisor immediately. This position requires the understanding of the role of the SQF Practitioner in ensuring that food safety decisions are made using a risk-based approach. All food safety issues and incidents are to be reported to the QA Department either directly from the employee or by the Supervisor. The minimum starting hourly rate for this position is $20.36 with a potential maximum hourly rage of $27.39 outlined below. In recognition of those employees willing to work shifts that are more difficult to fill and maintain, we offer a supplemental pay program. This recognizes regular full-time benefited eligible hourly employees who work second, third and weekend shifts. All hours worked between the hour of 11:00pm and 7:00am will be paid an additional: $2.00 per hour. All hours worked between Friday at 11:00pm and Sunday at 11:00pm will also receive an additional: $3.00 per hour. Supplemental pay may be stacked Supplemental pay is in addition to current shift differentials but not subject to overtime.
