Job Purpose

Perform all tasks involved in the production of Mitsubishi Chemical America resins/plastic compounds. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Principal Accountabilities
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Comply with all Safety procedures, including PPE, LOTO and safe lifting techniques.
  • Reads production schedule and performs work as assigned by Production Operator 3 or department supervisor.
  • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to Production Operator 3 or department supervisor.
  • Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
  • All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production.


Knowledge / Skills / Experience
  • Required to be familiar with basic computer functions.
  • Must have good mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to maintain production reports/records as required.
  • Able to perform basic set-ups on these machines and tools that are used in them.

  • The pay rate for this position is $20.55. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
