Production Operator

Location: Akron, Ohio
Shifts Available: 1st Shift and 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $16-$17 per hour

• Press Operator (1 Position)
• Assembly Operators (2 Positions)
• Blowmold Operators (2 Positions)

2nd Shift

• Injection Mold Operator (1 Position)

Job Summaries and Key Responsibilities:
Press Operator (1st Shift):

• Operate press machinery according to company standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of press equipment.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

Assembly Operators (1st Shift):

• Assemble parts and components according to detailed instructions.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Blowmold Operators (1st Shift):

• Operate and monitor blow molding machines.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Inspect products for quality and conformity to specifications.
• Ensure safe operation and maintain a clean working environment.

Injection Mold Operator (2nd Shift):

• Operate injection molding machines and other related equipment.
• Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in the respective roles preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude (Press Operator, Blowmold Operator).
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity (Assembly Operators).
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills (Injection Mold Operator).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics (Press Operator).
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks (Assembly Operators).
• Ability to handle materials safely and effectively.
