Growing windows and doors manufacturing company looking for various production managers with experience in one of the following areas:



  • Eurotek (European style windows & doors, storefronts, commercial project)

  • Sonax (aluminum windows & doors, custom high-end luxury homes)

  • PVC (vinyl extrusion)


Key Responsibilities:


1. Oversee the day-to-day operation of the plant.


2. Communicate with pre-production, inventory, sales, R&D, IT, and shipping departments accordingly for smooth daily production.


3. Ensure that the plant is operating at peak efficiency, meeting production targets, and maintaining quality standards. Work closely with the plant manager to develop production schedules and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery.


4. Oversee the work of the production team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.


5. Ensure that all employees follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.


6. Collaborate with the maintenance personnel to schedule and carry out regular maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to minimize downtime.


7. Monitor production processes and identify areas for potential improvement of overall efficiency.


8. Work with the Quality Assurance team to implement quality control procedures to ensure that products meet quality standards and customer special requirements.


9. Ensure that the plant is in compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety, environmental, and labor laws.


10. Assume the plant managers responsibilities when needed to ensure uninterrupted plant operation;


11. Maintain effective communication with the plant manager, supervisors, suppliers, and customers to ensure that all parties are informed of production progress, issues, and opportunities.




Qualifications:


Associates degree in engineering/business, Bachelor's degree is a plus.


Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.


At least 3 plus years of experience in a manufacturing/operations role.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and vendors


Be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.


Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment


Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
