We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Permanent Production Maintenance Technician to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of maintenance procedures, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and excellent troubleshooting skills. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment. As a Permanent Production Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment to ensure maximum life and efficiency.
2. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
3. Interpret and implement technical instruction, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
4. Work closely with production and engineering personnel to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
5. Improve maintenance procedures and methods to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
6. Maintain accurate and timely records of maintenance performed.
7. Participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed.
9. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
2. Strong knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) is a must.
3. Experience with hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems.
4. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
5. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
9. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
10. High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
11. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
