Stop and think: how would YOU put our drinks on every table? Shift: 2nd and 3rd Starting pay: $17.50/hr plus shift differential The Production Operator reports to the Production Supervisor. A summary of responsibilities includes monitoring speed and loads, tending various machines that perform functions such as filling, marking, labeling, banding, tying, packing, or wrapping containers. Must be available for ALL SHIFTS. Responsibilities: Operating assigned machines and all other associated work including preventative maintenance, machine changeovers, adjusting for operational efficiency, and assist other operators as necessary. Startup machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions. Perform best practice quality checks. Identify and report defective materials. Inspects filled container to ensure product is packaged according to specifications, including all codes and labels. Manually record data as required, charting necessary process adjustments based on data findings. Ensure quality checks and procedures are complete. Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of all equipment. Feeds product to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices, and unloads packaged product as required. Replenish packaging supplies such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, and labels. Train other operators as assigned and required. Make minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, changing forming and cutting dies, setting guides, or clearing away damaged product containers. Responsible for following all GMP's. Responsible for following all safety procedures. Strong communication skills, including written documentation Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment Maintain product food safety and quality standards by adhering to Quality Assurance Guidelines, GMP's, HACCP requirements, and other safety requirements Cross train in other work areas as needed Meet or exceed define key performance initiatives (KPI) To perform other duties as assigned Skills & Abilities Required Ability to work any shift assigned. Demonstrated ability to understand units of measure and record information. Ability to read, comprehend, and following written work-related instructions Effective verbal communication skills. Ability to track and record production information as necessary.
