Production Control Clerk with Security Clearance

We are pipelining candidates for a future role. Contingent upon Contract Award Valiant is seeking a Production Control Clerk for W-TRS. Potential locations could include: California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Korea, and potential additional CONUS locations. Essential job duties include but are not limited to:
• Receives, stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, or tools, and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
• Sorting or weighing incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice. Responsibilities:
• Examining stock to verify conformance to specifications.
• Storing articles in bins, on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size, or type of material.
• Filling orders or issues supplies from stock.
• Preparing periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock, and requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.
• Compiling reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments.
• Document all logistics actions (inventories, transfers, etc.) by inputting data into the ISTS.
• All other duties as assigned by management. Mental/Physical requirements for this role include:
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as appropriate.
• Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at height.
• Willing to work a flexible workweek.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver's license and maintain post driving privileges.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
• This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS. Basic Qualifications:
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1 - 2 years of experience as a stock clerk or shipping/receiving clerk.
• Proficient with basic computer systems including email and Microsoft Office applications and be able to work with a computer for extended periods of time.
• Strong customer service skills.
• US citizenship is required. Possess an Active Secret US Government Clearance or ability to obtain a clearance. Desired Skills: Previous Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) experience highly desired Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
