Production Associate

Position: Flexwood Repair

Summary/Objective The Flexwood Repair is required to inspect sheets of wood veneer for imperfections and damage, and repair all areas needed using a hand sander and wood putty
Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
Evaluates self-work to ensure compliance with work instructions and standards
Inspects the veneer sheets for specification conformance
Must be able to meet and maintain acceptable production levels
Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
Completes the necessary production forms
Understands lockout-tagout safety procedure
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
Assists in other areas as needed
