About the role

As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the portfolio roadmap and go to market strategy for Atom Power's EV charging solutions. You will work across the organization and facilitate collaborations with Engineering, Sales, Operations and Finance to assure roadmap deliveries meet Atom Power business objectives.

What you will do
  • Own the full product lifecycle, from concept, requirement definition, product launch to end of life strategy and execution
  • Communicate strategy using the product roadmap, establish regular voice of customer engagements and facilitate ideation sessions as part of concept development
  • Serve as the product knowledge expert internally and externally. Work closely with marketing to establish all sales collateral, pricing strategies and overall product viability and competitiveness.
  • Understand, define and incorporate product performance requirements into the product roadmap, including relevant codes and standards (UL, NEC, Energy Star, IEEE, etc.)
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape (hardware, software, networks, go to market strategies, etc.) and convert to actionable insights that differentiate our positioning and messaging strategies
  • Enable revenue growth by communicating new product value proposition and developing the needed selling tools to support the sales team at commercial launch
  • Participate in and represent Atom Power with industry affinity and trade groups and at associated events
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure product roadmap timelines are met and annual financial goals are created, including revenue, gross margin, COGS, market share, pricing and portfolio mix

What you bring
  • Minimum five (5) years work experience in product marketing, management consulting, strategy or similar, preferably in energy transition or electrical equipment
  • Proven performance driving revenue growth
  • B.A or B.S. degree
  • Experience with electrical systems, installation challenges of EV charging products and how to communicate with electrical contractors
  • Customer facing marketing or sales experience in the electrical industry
  • Have contributed to design portfolio management and real time monitoring tools
  • Strong business acumen and experience developing and presenting robust business cases
  • Problem solving mind-set
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills
  • Relentlessly market focused
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion
We"d love to see
  • MBA
  • Direct experience leading product management for an EV Charging provider or OEM
  • Experience partnering with engineering consultants, integrators and other key stakeholders including facility engineers, site engineering and customer leadership
  • Experience with software development process
  • Experience with ideation process and leading VOC activities
