Position Description:
- Looking for experienced engine and hybrid powertrain calibrators for our global internal combustion engine, diesel, and hybrid electric vehicles.
- We are looking for engineers who have 2+ years of calibration experience developing and delivering drivability, tailpipe or evaporative emissions, or on board diagnostics.
- The position includes working in vehicles on road and at test facilities including Allen Test Park Lab, Drivability Test Facility, etc. Models and data simulation may be used too.
- Calibrators use in vehicle data acquisition systems and are well versed in data analysis and scripting tools.
- Some travel may be included to hot weather, cold weather, and altitude test locations.
Skills Required: - BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- Propulsion systems calibration engineering. (engine or HEV calibration) experience.
- Proficient in data analysis 3) Technical knowledge.
- Responsible, enthusiastic, and ready to deliver fantastic products and work with a great team.
Skills Preferred: - Can read C code.
- Can write engineering scripts.
- Control systems knowledge
Experience Required: - 2+ years of propulsion systems calibration experience
Experience Preferred: - Delivered drivability calibration.
- Delivered tailpipe or evaporative emissions calibration.
- Delivered on board diagnostics calibration.
Education Required: Education Preferred: Additional Information: - Positions are Hybrid (at least 3 days onsite).
