We're Hiring: Chassis Control Validation Engineer

Are you ready to test cutting-edge chassis control strategies in a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) environment? Join our dynamic Core Vehicle Controls Software team, where you will play a crucial role in validating chassis controls. This position offers the opportunity to enhance robust verification methods, support test execution, and demonstrate results through data analysis and reporting.

What You Will Be Able to Do:

• Perform software validation testing, analysis, and reporting for production software on HIL and SIL

• Analyze test results and troubleshoot issues to determine root cause

• Report issues using automated reporting systems such as JIRA

• Store and retain documents and test records according to established guidelines

Experience Required:

• 1+ years' experience in automotive embedded systems software

• Experience with HIL test setup, modeling, and environment builds

Experience Preferred:

• Experience with CAN networks and OBD systems and demonstrated ability to utilize related tools (CANalyzer, Diagnostic tools, etc.)

Skills:

• Required:

• Solid understanding of vehicle structure, subsystems, and components (Steering and Brakes)

• Understanding of Module Hardware/Software Architectures (ABS, PSCM, PCM, BCM, etc.)

• Preferred:

• Familiar with Matlab/Simulink for SIL and HIL applications

• Understanding of testing methodologies and ability to utilize test equipment (multi meter, scope, logic analyzer, etc.)

Pay Details: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
