What the Procurement Specialist will do:
- Create purchase orders, request for proposals and requisitions
- administer contracts, review for deliverables and compliance
- verify pricing with suppliers, vendors and third party providers
- manage the contract approval process and be proactive in obtaining additional information as needed
- ad hoc reporting and other projects as needed
Preferred qualifications for the Procurement Specialist:
- Bachelor's Degree a plus
- 3-5 years of experience creating purchase orders and working with contracts
- regulatory compliance or government purchasing preferred
- professional written and verbal communication skills
- outgoing personality and able to build relationships easily
