Job Details

Currently they are looking to add a Procurement Manager who will be responsible for managing mission-critical construction materials and services across all orgs in order to ensure seamless company-wide communication and top-notch performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the full Materials management cycle for your roadmap: Discovery, Validation, Development, Launch and Measure/Iterate.
  • Lead market analyses thorough market research, competitive bidding, supplier onboarding, competitor benchmarking, and implementation of new products
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to secure reliable sources for construction materials and services.
  • Communicate and craft compelling strategic and tactical approaches and share them across our internal teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand opportunities to scale and drive efficiencies throughout our ecosystem.
  • Work with design, engineering and manufacturing teams to shape the future of our products and how we leverage the 3rd party platforms we rely on.
  • Work with the finance team to develop and manage budgets for architectural product development, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and documentation of internal and external system functionality, customizations, and integrations, and proactively identify opportunities for process and workflow improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management/related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of materials management or related experience in construction and operations.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design principles, materials, and construction processes.
  • Proven experience in architectural product management within the residential construction industry.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • You have a proven track record of optimizing processes and systems.
  • You have experience with systems integration, data flow, report generations, and automation of manual processes.
  • You have experience with NetSuite systems, bonus if you have a base knowledge and experience with shop drawings and design/architectural related plans.
  • Have demonstrated a deep empathy for users and their experience with every aspect of your materials.
