Purpose & Scope:

The purpose of this position is to ensure compliance in supplier sourcing, prompt and accurate contract management along with data analysis both internally and externally. This position is directly responsible for the estimated annual spend of $15M to $20M. This position is responsible for developing commodity strategies to support business units, management and execution of procurement processes, and contracts associated with MRO and/or Plant Service commodities This position will also facilitate invoices for payments as required for key commodities.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the supplier sourcing, forecasting, contract and relationship management, data analysis and compliance (internal and external) and tracking continuous improvement savings for their responsible commodities.
  • Assist operations by selecting & onboarding suppliers, negotiating terms & conditions, service delivery, rates, resolve issues, and overall contract management through the cycle.
  • Lead the development and/or coordination of procurement activities within the commodities they manage that would reduce the total cost of ownership, improve availability, quality, and service.
  • Develop and implement vendor performance metrics and enforce necessary corrective action plans based on vendors' performance.
  • Responsible for managing the contract templates, digitizing, administering, and managing supplier contracts.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all government and non-government regulations and internal purchasing-related company control regulations.
  • Manage the diversity spend and collaborate with the business units to improve and develop the report.
  • This position will work cross-functionally by supporting the procurement organization to achieve business objectives and support the manufacturing team to achieve lowest total cost of ownership on the commodities & services they manage.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in supply chain, business, or related with at least 9 years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related with at least 7 years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain.
  • Master's degree in supply chain, business, or related with at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in supply chain, business, or related with at least 14 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or contracts.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related with at least 12 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or contracts.
  • Master's degree in supply chain, business, or related with at least 10 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or contracts.
