Job Title: Procurement Analyst Responsibilities of the Procurement Analyst EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking candidates for a Procurement Analyst role supporting the U.S. Army in Radford, VA. The Procurement Analyst will: Provide comprehensive support throughout the entire Government acquisition process. Utilize various techniques such as market research, interviews, document analysis, and requirements workshops to elicit and translate requirements into procurement-ready packages. Critically evaluate information from diverse sources, reconcile conflicts, and abstract details into a general understanding, distinguishing user requests from underlying true needs. Proactively collaborate with external and internal customers, delivering essential artifacts like Functional Requirements and Business Requirements Documents. Apply experience in enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies. Efficiently manage involvement in multiple acquisition initiatives concurrently. Independently work with users to define concepts under the guidance of the Government Team Lead. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of hands-on experience or Associates' Degree with 7 years of hands-on experience. Minimum of two years supporting the Government acquisition process at a government location. Proven expertise in researching, developing, and compiling procurement-related documentation, including Performance Work Statements, Justification and Authorization documents, Market Research reports, and Requirements specifications. Experience in the full-lifecycle requirements development process, actively participating in requirements discovery and formalization in collaboration with multiple Government teams.
